Michel Blondeau, C.E.O., ecentricarts inc.
Michel Blondeau is a Toronto-based New Media Producer. As an industry veteran, Michel supports efforts to strengthen the industry through teaching, mentoring, building national networks and lobbying for policy initiatives that support digital cultural productions in Canada.
He has taught a graduate course in the University of Toronto Museum Studies Dept. and is a regular lecturer at the Banff Centre for the Arts and the CFC, as well as other institutions of higher learning.
As a founding partner in ecentricarts inc., he has produced many award-winning digital productions, He has also worked with the NFB, the Virtual Museum of Canada, culture.ca, The Canadian Music Centre, The Glenbow, The Textile Museum of Canada, Opera.ca, Art Metropole, Tafelmusik and PACT – among others.
His educational background includes graduate work in East Asian and Indonesian Studies. His work experience includes diverse interests such as social work and publishing. He is currently working on a large scale interactive film project.
